Purpose: economic development through a racial equality lens
Vision: To create and encourage spaces and opportunities in North County that will lead to good health and economic prosperity.
The idea of A Red Circle began when our founder, Erica Williams, was researching St. Louis’ real estate history and discovered that the current racial tension in St. Louis is the result of past racist laws and public policies. She decided that a substantial investment into North County was necessary to provide equitable relief to the region.
The name A Red Circle is based off the principles: 1) Red, because all blood is red, 2) a circle because we are all connected by humanity, and the interconnection of systems is necessary for a healthy and prosperous community.
A Red Circle is a tax-exempt organization with 501(c)(3) status, a proud member of the Greater North County Chamber of Commerce and the Heartland Midwest Black Chamber of Commerce.
A Red Circle serves the following zip codes within St. Louis County: 63120, 63121, 63133, 63134, 63135, 63136, 63137, 63138. 63031, 63033, 63034, and 63042.
